We are a company wanting to take part in the Standard Chartered Great City Race, how do we enter a team?
You will need to register your company details on the ‘register interest’ function on the Standard Chartered Great City Race website. Companies who have competed in the past have been sent an invitation to submit a team in this year’s race. If invited companies do not submit a team or have a reduction in runners wanting to take part in the event, we will contact those companies who have registered an interest in taking part.
All entrants must be employees of the company they are representing (Please see ‘terms’.) The Cost of entry is £25 per person.
We have registered an interest in taking part in the Standard Chartered Great City Race, when will we hear if we have been successful?
Once you have registered an interest in taking part in the Great City Race your company details will be placed on a waiting list. As space in the event becomes available we will contact those companies on a first come first served basis.
Once we are successfully registered as taking part in the race, what facilities for runners will there be on the day?
- All runners will receive a ‘finisher bag’ containing a medal & finisher T-shirt.
- Supplies of bottled water will be available before and after the race.
- Changing facilities will be available, however there is no baggage storage please leave your valuables with friends who have come along to support.
We would like to enter more then one team in the race, shall we register twice?
You only need to register your company once. The team scoring is worked out after the race has been run using ChampionChip technology. For example, the first four of your runners in each category will be automatically worked out as the first team, the next four as the second team. Please read the ‘terms’ and ‘awards’ section for further details.
