How much does it cost to enter the Standard Chartered Great City Race?
The entry fee for the mass event is £30 per team member. The entry fee for the virtual event is £15 for participants in the UK and £20 for participants who live outside the UK, to cover international postage.
Who can be in a team?
Teams must include at least four mass event participants, and all team members must be employed by the same company. Where a company has more than four mass event participants, there is no need to split your company into teams before the event. The teams are worked out after you have completed the 5K course. The four fastest participants across the Finish Line from your company will be the first scoring team, the next four the second scoring team and so on. There are three team categories: male, female and mixed (comprising of at least two females).
Can my friend or family member be part of my team?
All participants in the event must be current employees of the companies that have entered, so members of your team must be colleagues at the same organisation. As this event is a corporate team challenge, we do not accept individual entries.
I am my company’s Team Captain. When will I receive my team’s bib numbers?
All companies that enter the event and pay for places on time will receive an Event Pack for the attention of the Team Captain by the day before Event Day. Your team’s Event Pack will be sent to the address you submitted when you entered the race. Each Event Pack contains a bib number, which includes a timing tag.
Some of my team members have pulled out. Is the entry fee refundable?
Places in the Standard Chartered Great City Race are not refundable and cannot be rolled over to a future year – please see our General Conditions of Entry. You can, however, substitute team members up until the entry deadline.
How do I let you know if I need to update my details?
It's important we have up-to-date details for you. You can update your details via your entry confirmation email from Let's Do This. If you cannot find this, please contact us with your full name, date of birth and updated details.
